Installation Guide for Gobo Projector

Important Safety Alert for Gobo Projector Installation

WARNING: Installation Must Be Performed by a Qualified Electrician

  1. Electrician Only:
Only a licensed and qualified electrician should handle all electrical components during the installation process. Do not attempt to connect or modify any wiring unless you are properly certified.

  2. Power Connection:
The projector should NOT be connected to the power source until installation is fully complete and all components are securely mounted. Ensure all wiring and connections are double-checked by an electrician before turning on the power.

  3. Avoid Heavy Water Exposure:
Although this projector is rated IP65, which provides protection against rain and dust, it is not suitable for areas with heavy water exposure (e.g., poolsides, fountains, or other areas with significant water splashes). Install only in outdoor environments where it is exposed to occasional rain, but avoid locations with direct and heavy water flow.

Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in electrical hazards, water damage, or voided warranty.

Tools and Materials Needed:

  • Gobo projector
  • Wall mount bracket (included with projector)
  • Screws (included with projector or wall mounting hardware)
  • Screwdriver or drill
  • Level (for angle adjustment)
  • Measuring tape (optional)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Select a Location

    • Choose a location on the wall where the gobo projector can project onto the desired surface. Ensure the surface is stable, and there are no obstructions between the projector and the projection area.
  2. Mark the Mounting Points

    • Hold the wall mount bracket against the wall at the desired height.
    • Use a pencil to mark where the screws will go based on the mounting holes of the bracket.
    • Make sure the bracket is level.
  3. Drill Pilot Holes

    • If the wall requires it (e.g., concrete or brick), use a drill to create pilot holes at the marked points. This will make it easier to install the screws securely.
  4. Attach the Wall Bracket

    • Place the wall mount bracket over the pilot holes.
    • Use screws and a screwdriver or drill to attach the bracket securely to the wall. Tighten the screws so the bracket is stable and does not move.
  5. Attach the Gobo Projector to the Bracket

    • Mount the gobo projector onto the wall bracket following the instructions specific to your projector model. Ensure it’s securely fastened to prevent it from shifting or falling.
  6. Adjust the Angle

    • Use a level to ensure the projector is aligned straight. Adjust the angle so that the projector is either perfectly straight or tilted up to a maximum of 30 degrees. This angle ensures optimal image clarity and stability.
    • Tighten any angle adjustment screws to lock in the position.
  7. Test the Projection

    • Plug in the gobo projector and turn it on to test the projection. Make sure the image is clear and aimed at the intended surface.
    • Make any final adjustments to the angle if needed.
  8. Rotate the Focus Lens for Sharpness:

    • Adjust the focus lens by rotating it until the projected image is sharp and clear.
  9. Check All Connections:

    • Ensure all electrical connections are secure, and the power source is stable.
  10. Verify Projector Mounting:

    • Confirm that the projector is securely attached to the wall or mounting surface for safe and stable operation.
  11.  GOOD LUCK!
